Is AI BI Academy affiliated with Anthropic?

No. We're an independent training provider. The exams are owned and administered by Anthropic through Pearson VUE, and badges are issued via Credly. Our prep courses, syllabi, and mock exams are our own work, built to align with Anthropic's published certification blueprints.

What do the certifications validate?

They validate the skills behind advising, designing, and building Claude solutions. There are three roles — Associate, Developer, and Architect — across two levels, Foundations and Professional. Each maps to real production work rather than generic 'prompt engineering'.

Which exam should I take first?

If you write code, Developer – Foundations is the best signal-per-dollar. If you advise or sell, take Associate. Architects should complete Foundations before Professional. Note that Associate does not count toward Claude Partner Network tier standing — Developer and Architect do.

How and where do I take the exam?

All four exams are 120 minutes and delivered either online-proctored or at a Pearson VUE test centre, in English. You register through the Anthropic Partner Academy, which starts the Pearson scheduling process.

To sit the official exams, registration runs through the Anthropic Partner Academy for CPN members. Anyone can study the objectives with AI BI Academy prep, and the underlying Anthropic Academy courses are free to everyone.

Pearson VUE test-centre appointments can typically be rescheduled or cancelled up to 24 hours before your scheduled time through your Pearson account. Always confirm the current policy at registration.

What do I need for an online-proctored exam?

A quiet, private room, a working webcam and microphone, a stable internet connection, and government ID. Anthropic's 'Computer and Network Setup' page lists the exact system check to run beforehand.

What's the passing score?

All four exams use a scaled score from 100 to 1000, with 720 required to pass. Questions are multiple-choice and multiple-response; the Architect exams are scenario-based (Foundations draws 4 of 6 scenarios, 15 questions each).

How long is a credential valid?

Twelve months. Anthropic partners with Credly to issue digital badges you can share and verify. After expiry you re-certify against the current blueprint, which is refreshed as models and tooling evolve.

You can retake the exam per Anthropic's published retake policy, which typically includes a waiting period between attempts and a new exam fee. Use the gap to work your error log — every wrong answer becomes a study target.

Yes — $99 (Associate), $125 (Developer), $125 (Architect – Foundations), and $175 (Architect – Professional). Those are Anthropic's exam fees paid to Pearson VUE at registration. AI BI Academy prep is a separate, independent offering.

Certifications are held by individuals. Companies benefit because certified headcount contributes to their partner tier — but the credential itself, and the badge, belongs to you.
